Got up to newton about 11am and followed tide on to the rocks it was lashing down the wind was gale force from the north "it felt like the middle of winter loads of weed hard to cast but we kept at it couple of canny nocks but that was about it" couple of lads came on but was the same for them .We were using every bait possible but it just wasn't happening it got to about 2pm and it was like turning a switch off the wind dropped the sun came out it was just unreal back to the middle of summer ended up on the beach with acouple of flounder just to use the bait all in all very strange day but good to be out will be back up there great spot
