Would be a bit harsh to charge them when you consider how many fisherman are rescued for free

A few years back a member of the public thought 2 fisherman needed rescuing from there and phoned the emergency services , if remember rightly one of the national news papers covers the story and said it cost about 40 grand

Does your family have more common sense than everybody else then ? How can you say they should be charged ? Accidents do happen mate and the rescue services are there to provide the FREE service

When people decide to risk their lives sailing their expensive "toys" around the world, no one seems to bring up the cost of rescue when they get into trouble. Instead they're regarded as "heroes"
Just thought I'd get my pennyworth in.

Accidents happen, fact. Without sounding disrespectful what about the fishermen that put their life at risk in stupid weather and the ones that have lost their lives due to that ? Look at the people that affects, loved ones and freinds. The emergency services are out in foul weather putting their lives at risk with a possibility of losing their lives and leaving loved ones and friends behind all because some so called proper angler wants a bag of fish to put a report on here and the likes. Anglers are the worst offenders for putting themselves at risk, all for what ? A pb ! Very hypocritical post I think.
