Just thought I'd clear things up regarding the Tope record after reading the "Report" in tonight's paper. Just had a long telephone call with Nick Simmons from the Angling Trust and is on the British Record Fish Commitee and it is illegal to kill a Tope as its a protected specimen fish..as for recording your catch this must be witnessed by 2 inderpendant anglers and photographs taken of the fish and this is put before the panel, plus they have asked for my scales to be checked.
