Lt bullet or a zeteque. But with it being a zippy i would not buy it without casting it first as there can be a massive difference between rods and thats brand new lol unless you work zippys they all feel soft to cast

Its just the design of the rod really as most zziplex rodsare designed for pendulum casting if i pick a zeteque txl up if feels ok to me as i am not bending it in the butt were as someone like cod magnet who does bend them and other good casters say there really stiff. Its all down to personal preference i like harrison rods and century some lads like greys sonik zippys dont buy the badge buy the rod. Try some before you buy if you can is my advice especially zippys. with century rods you can cast a rod buy it out the shop and it will be the same feel. For mixed ground fishing alot of people like the century ss .not my type of rod but very popular. Dont buy a rod just on recommendation alone as often you will be left out of pocket and let down.

Is it just a over head thump you do?what size weights do you cast? What areas do you fish? More info you give the more advice people can givve you mate then you caan maybe narrow your options down. I am not trying to tell you what rod to buy just trying to help as buying the wrong rods is a costly habbit i know lots about lol

I used to do just an off the ground thump aye but last year a met 2 lads on shields pier at the brigade hut, Mark I thino one of them was called, and he was teaching me how to pendulum. Think it was him that advised me to get a zzippy he told me to give him a bell if I ever wanted one but I've forgotten what he said his name on here was. As for fishing shields pier but I want to get into the rock marks as I've never fished them before that why I wanted something a bit on the stiffer side, cheers pal

It's got to be a zeteque txl or the standard zeteque they will pull out in mate I have got both of these rods and they are mint
