  • fishing spots around the country

Alright ladies and gents, just got back into my fishing after around 7 years so I'm a little rusty. Me and the girlfriend are gonna go for a short road trip end of this month maybe next and I was just just wandering if yous had any recommendations, preferably on the west coast, cheers!
P.s. Side question, I'm gonna get a new rod soon, something for both summer and winter and wondered what yous would recommend, gracias.

Port patrick is a nice easy fishing place mate and as for the rod it all depends on budget really and i take it you want a all round rod?

Have a look at the Leeda Icon Power or Ultra Power.. Excellent rods at an even better price! Better than any other rod in thtat price range in my opinion

They arent much of an all around rod though, more for rough ground but agreed they are very good rods

I have been through countless amounts of rods including century, greys, conflex, zziplex etc.. Always go back to my mk1 orion.. It has softened quite a bit now though so use an oxblood ttr for heavier fishing..
