nothing wrong with fishing at night on these nice warm nights, dont fish alone and be extra careful, dont fish it with a sea on and never when raining, best of luck. davy.

even a little damp mate and the rocks become lethal . Just take care and never fish alone and try different baits and keep your reel in free spool because there could be conger or anything big
      species so far :cod,whiting,coalie,dab,flounder ,plaice,3bearded rockling,mackeral,granny fish best for 2012 :6lbcod

hi mate,i cant get up as often as I would like, but I was wondering about conger fishing into burnmouth harbour at night,a big mackerel or herring bait might do the trick, you never know you may plonk it on a cods heed as well, the ground inside the harbour casting back looks canny, wrasse and coalies must be out at night on the float.....don't fish the rocks around eyemouth alone day or night its to dangerous mate, cheers chris
sometimes i sits and thinks, but thinks better whilst sitting on a rock fishing

I've fished there before through the day, but I think these conditions would be perfect for a bit spinning at dusk and dawn and there's gotta be some big fish kicking about during the night. There will be 2 of us fishing

Dave storey is the expert when it comes to fishing up there,if I remember rightly that 12lber was caught on peeler during the day on my favourite set up,the backcaster and scarboro reel....see the codling crouch...when I was up last year I did wonder about the new fish processing plant in eyemouth harbour, when I was a kid some 30 years ago we used to get plenty of coalies and wrasse on that side of the harbour,if fish are being processed there might be some waste going into the harbour, might be worth a dangle down the side at night with a fish bait and see what turns up...daves fish proves conger about but we don't fish properly for them....think I may have to plan a trip!!!!!
