  • Greys Fishing Rigs

Just bought a couple of these from fasers and they look fantastic I know most people make theyre own ..me included..but if your in a hurry to get out.. they cost 1.30 each for the rough ground ones and pennel so excellent value with the price of beads crimps etc
Will give them a try ower the weekend and put them to the test

Think it was tony anderson .. tried them tonight and theyre not bad the hook length on the rough ground clip down was too long for the clip down but the knots on them were sturdy enough to sum them up theyre canny if youre in a hurry and cheap enough but theyre not as good in quality as the ones you make your self so in short mek ya own

I seen them advertised and wondered what they would be like Good to know that they are worthwhile trying if you haven't time to get bits and pieces to make your own.

obviously they are made in china or some where over that way for a penny each
some poor kids fingers will be hanging off due to the amount of knots he or she are pulling tight

              i wont be buying

yes they are made in the far east, there is an article in the sea angler about greys rigs overseen by the man himself T A i think the companies who make the various rigs could be a bit cleverer than we give them credit for. i dread to think that some poor little kids fingers are bleeding just for us to have reasonably priced rigs . heaven forbid sless.

aww cmon lads...a cant actually believe a fisherman would pay money for a rig.....ok you say your in a hurry to get fishing but it only takes 5 mins to make your own rig....i use mostly diffrent rigs for the type of place im fishing so i think greys are just targetting either lazy fishermen or novices which is fair enough but personally a wouldnt touch anything with the greys name on.......made in the far east..snapped in britain?

for what its worth, the factory in china will sell you greys and hardys rods direct from about $5 a rod, you gotta buy 500 rods at a time though. Likewise the factory churning the rigs out will sell em to anyone thats interested and wants to put an order in ($1000 minimum order) I was thinking about it a while back, was gonna buy a load of twin tail lures, rigs and the liek
