Druridge bay mate , plenty flats with the chance of a turbot , carp rods 1 or 2 onz bomb and Mackey strip hooked once on a two hook flapper , anywhere from 10 to 50 yards and fish bottom water up , hope this helps
      I am a fisherman !
It is not merely something that I do
It is who I am !
Fishing is not simply my escape.
It is where I am supposed to be.
It is not a place that I go
But a lifelong journey that I am taking
It is a passage that was shown to me and that I will continue to show others.
When you understand all of this you will then know me .
      And we will fish together

I'm in the same boat. Don't know anywhere to fish from tea time today within half an hours drive that's going to be helmut free. I'd like to fish off a beach somewhere if there's anywhere. I'm sick of catching little flatties off roker.
                All the gear, no idea.

Loads of times just going for some piece and quite and maybe some fish.
Now got some fresh whites so atleast the flatties will have a good feed.
