    Hi lads ive lost a shakespeare salt mpv rod today on blyth pier it fell through the gap when packing up. If anyone comes across it i would be most grateful for its return. Heres hoping fingers crossed thanks

      Get yourself back at low tide mate - you can get along the struts at the bottom of the pier quite easily. It'll probably be wedged in amongst the rocks (if it fell through the planks) and won't go anywhere....and if it's in one piece it should be easy enough to fish it out. Same thing happened to me once with the top section of my Greys Seaspin and is the reason I no longer take rods apart on that place.....I'm even more paranoid about my car keys lol!

        ner watched it float away while others were frantically trying to hook it to no avail lost sight of it eventually. Another one for davey jones locker me thinks he must have a hell of a collection now lol

          Ah, that's bad luck mate..just have to hope that some nice person might pull it in (before the dredger gets it!).
