hello mate when im spinning i use 15lb spectra extreme braid from china its about 7 quid off ebay for 300yrds Ive never had a problem with it yet. I did start with 10lb braid and found this difficult to control the knots but going up to 15 and a bit of experience using it has sorted that out. Tight lines Alan

I've found the Chinese stuff to spot on but I always buy off the seller angelfish. Some of the other ones can be a bit iffy. Buying at home I think power pro is the way to go, although spiderwire code red also gets good reviews off the Whitby lads along with Berkeley whiplash. But as already said I've had no probs with the Chinese stuff so far, I use the 100lb stuff as leader when fishing heavy ground.

i,m using 15lb fireline. used it for years without a single problem. dont fill your reel right to the lip like you would mono and you,ll avoid the wind knots.

for heavier work i have 30lb ultima pro [red]. no problems so far with it.

Close your bail arm manually, and pull the braid against your drag after each cast , it helps keep it tight on your spool

toonboy, I bought some 20lb braid from china.... its been spot on! no air knots or anything. It fires a lure / plug / spinner a good distance aswell and on the back of that I would bother going lower in breaking strain than 20lb.... I don't think you need it and lower strains seem to cause more issues with air knots and stuff. Order online.... save yourself some money on an expensive bit of kit!

Just get the Dyneema stuff mate, it's spot on. I use the 10lb stuff with the lighter lures but as some of the lads said, try a bigger breaking strain to avoid the air knots.
