Went out for a few hours this morning, had a plan to catch a few whiting for our new cat.
And sure enough I had enough to feed all the cats in cleveland (only kept 4).
So everything was going ok until an hour before high water, about 15-20 boats had come out of whitby harbour without coming anywhere near my gear, then one @rse steered hard left when he had just cleared the pier straight into my gear. I could hear the plonkers on board laughing (haha very funny). Safe to say I nearly lost my rod just caught it before it went over the railing, my gear snapped off but wasnt too bothered about that.
Anyway I thought its friday the 13th so I have had my bit of bad luck,,,WRONG
got back to my van at 07.00 and discovered that like an idiot I had left it unlocked.
So if anybody gets offered a zippy 50/50 with built by dafydd lloyd for tal bach printed on it will they let me know (yes it had been nicked along with a mag elite).
Thank god it wasnt one of my rock rocks cause that would of peed me right off.
Anyway wats done is done,, oh and I got another P.B the biggest rockling I have ever seen it was over a foot long (got picture, will post later).
