Hope you have a good trip, its not fishing well at all by all accounts.

West side has the pollack fishing nacked for a while due to the 55mph onshore winds last weekend and around port logan and in Lce bay the regulars are reporting a massive lack of summer species and coloured water.

I am sure off the mull end where the tide rips through will have some cleaner water and produce the normal species..good luck anyway.

Thanks again from the both of us the wifes native american & doing the sun dance as I type this. We don't get to fish much due to working spilt shifts 6 days a week but we can take what ever is thrown at us & if we catch 1 fish between us it will be worth the trip. Heather has her heart set on a dog fish which I am hoping will still be around in abundance. Will let you know how we get on when we get back.

Try fishing in the dark with mackie as bait you will get loads of doggies. Also use 1/0 hooks.
