  • Strange question...

    Anyone know if there any point in me keeping the scrap bits of rainbow trout (left over from filleting / cleaning) to use as bait? I used to keep the head etc and cook it up for the cat - but since he popped his clogs I tend to just bin it. Jut wondered if it was of any use?

    Blitz it and mix it with other baits to make bait bangers maybe?

        can't imagine it would be much good as it's not very oily either. i'd just chuck it or give to the foxes

            I've caught mackerel, float fishing with strips of rainbow trout belly. ( not lately though )

                Rigthy, I shall give it a try next time I clean off some trout. I will report back with my findings
