    Whats peoples favourite set ups

    Mine is a wr300 for beach work

    And harrison p3 for the rough stuff

    Mk1 greys orion for lighter fishing like beaches etc..

    Oxblood TTR for heavier work..

    Reels: Original 525mag xtra for pretty much everything with .35 okuma platinum (about 20lb) or saltist 30 with 30lb (i have recently changed the line to a japanese called Kunai.. .40 but 20.5kg bs)

      Fun-fishing 3-5oz type stuff - AFAW surf with a 7HT mag or fixed-spool & braid.

      Beaches & mixed ground - AFAW Tournament Match with a 7HTmag or Saltist 20.

      Rough ground - Harrison P3 with a Saltist 20 or 30.

      Go anywhere / club-match set up - Greys Platinum GSI with one of the above multis to suit.

          I use a kompresser ss and a saltist 30h use that for every think. Got a bze spining rod also

            This is the line I use phil.. As I said it seems good but I havn't had chance to try it over here only where I bought it in Fuerteventura.. It is however, bloody strong! I tie a pretty good spider hitch to no-name to my shockleader and eventually the knot gave in before the line snapped

                Penn mag 525 ( original ) Best reels ever made IMO

                and a carbon metal bb, best rod ive ever used


                Going to get something for the heavier ground in due course though

                            for beach work it used to be a Zziplex Dymic LT14 EVO matched to a akios 656 shuttle or tourno 666mm3 but just sold the rod to (the tornado) who snapped his tip tornado last week. ( looks like he's gonna have to change his name ) has a replacement beach rod thinking of getting a zziplex m4 gt.
                            for the rough stuff it's a zziplex full tournament and zziplex m427su matched with penn fathom 15 and daiwa saltist bg 30 h

                              Century c3 ld with a shimano navi 8000/7000, braid on the 7000 spool, mono on the 8000 spool. Slosh 20/30s are my favorite multis.
