Dog fish nearly all same size been across loads of times if fishing off bottom flat rock good mark if looking for Pollock me personally would head to portpatrick
I got back from the mog yesterday. We just fished near where we had the tents. I found I only lost my gear once using a pulley rig with gripper lead. Any other rigs were getting snagged every time.
Pollack from the west coast. Marks around Portpatrick are good to start. Float fish Sandeel or mackerel strip, or spin with frozen Sandeel/artificials. You'll get dogs anywhere on the east side of the mull, especially after dark.
