  • local rock mark today/divers

going out from 12-30 to fish the tide down, was going to crawleys but with it being a sunday with nice flat sea and clear water the divers might be out in force, ive had most problems with them when ive been on crawleys and they turn up and go in right in front of me.does anyone know if they get over near the crescent?ive seen them on the lighthouse and in crisps buy not sure if they get round to hartley.hate getting set up then they turn up and dont seem to care that your fishing there

any places local where they never go thats a good half tide down shot for today

Try the middens or the haven rocks, the current is too strong for them there so u should get a bit of peace and maybie a few coalies.

      divers

there are a few rock marks berween blyth and tynemouth where it is easy access to the deep water and there are points of intrest reefs and wrecks close in thats why they dive there i used to have trouble at st abbs with divers
old anglers never die -they just smell that way

Should be fine around hartley, its too much of a trek for them to get down there. Unless they decide to swim all the way round from st mary's. Good luck wherever you go

Browns Bay is where swimming pool cut out of the rock,I used to dive there many years ago there is a small wreck out there so the divers like that kind of thing plus one of the dive schools did there courses for the novice divers not sure if they still do it there now.
I used to see Cod in that area and a Conger, its a shallow dive about 10 meters deep, the lobster pot may be a marker for the divers.

Sharpness, Hartley, collywell bay, Cambois, newbiggin, cresswell. Any where there's heavy kelp for resident fish.
