prom next to crawleys--crab hill

stay at the north end and cast straight east aiming for North Crab Hill, used to be quite a good shot but with the fishing the way it is now, been a couple of nice pollock taken there over the last couple of years. That's my mate Bruce and his dog in the second photoAlan

Just to the right of the stones in the first picture puts you into browns well,to the left of the stones at the end of prom just before steps casting up the side of crawleys,you can also fish in front of the out door pool on small tides at high water,you can fish oppisite the stairs that lead down from main road or to the left of the stairs at the mark called the chair,this used to be a good big fish shot. A good high water shot, but only on tides up to about 4.6m if it's flat - fished there myself last winter for the best fish of what was otherwise a poor season (an ounce under 7lb) but cut it pretty fine...my bait bucket nearly bobbed away a couple of times, and as you're cut off there's nowhere to go for a while if you're not getting bites. I had to sit it out for three & a half hours that night, no bites & bored as hell before the fish turned up. A couple of lads were fishing from the prom that night as well.

also is the pulpit the rocks at the top of the map just down the stairs to the right of crawleys
