Just joined so thought I would be polite and say hello before I start bombarding you with loads of questions
Now for my first question(s) and no incase anyone asks this isn't a wind up - I really am a newbie!!!
Never tried shore fishing before, done all my fishing at still waters, fly, spinner and ledgering for trout - so I know nothing about shore fishing etc.
I live not too far from tynemouth so it would be there I am fishing (longsands) - am I right in thinking that I don't need a licence etc, I can just turn up and fish? I am so used to paying the EA licence and day tickets I am struggling with that concept
Also, I presume that I will need a new rod and reel as all my stuff is for still water, unless there is any point in using a spinner/plug there?
Cheers all, I will let you get some peace - for a short while anyway :O)
