  • Braid for spinning/floating

I am thinking of getting braid for floating and spinning after last weeks trip. With a bit of wind giving a bow to the line, even with 12lb mono, missed a few takes.

What braid does anyone use from the shore?

Peter, I use 20lb fireline for spinning and would never go back to mono. As for floatfishing, I've found that mono is better than braid.

Whiplash is great stuff and can be bought here for £17.95.

          It's really supple.

Had been looking at a 2 for 1 offer on Penn Dynabraid Tidecutter. Will have a look.

            Thanks for the replies.
