Great day out for you, just getting out with your dad will have been nice and even better when he got a fish.

Breaking news - took this from the Onyermarks home page.

TOPE ON THE FLY - Both Onyer Marks and Onyer Marks Too boats have been taking good numbers of tope every day this week but there is no doubt the fish of the week and probably the fish of the year was a tope caught on the fly by Alex Wilkie. Alex has broken our mackerel and pollack fly records during the last two years and has made no doubt about his ambition to catch a tope on the fly and his patience was rewarded with a tope of 27 pounds. It is a brilliant catch but some of the credit must go to Matty who worked hard to get the fish feeding near the boat. I don't want to give the details as one of the angling monthlies is interested in doing a feature. Has anyone ever heard of tope on the fly before? We certainly haven't.

Now that would have been some scrap !!!!!
