The NESA TYNE CHALLENGE TROPHY COMPETITION is an annual, Winter contest between 2 teams of NESA members.
1 team comprising anglers from North of the Tyne and the other, anglers from South of the Tyne. Because of this, the competition has become affectionately known as the North v South Comp (or NvS Comp).
The winning team is determined by which has the heaviest accumulated weight of fish brought back to the weigh-in.
The captain of the winning team will be presented with the Trophy and retain it until the following years' competition, when it will be competed for once again.
