            Hello Paul,
those Megabass Zonk Gatarides are great lures but the plastic hinged vanes are very brittle and it takes nowt to break them. Great lures though.

            Regards Ian.

YouTube revelation of the gatoride and its shows you how to prevent the flap snapping, basically file away the plastic stopper so when u hit a rock instead of snapping, it clicks over where the stopper was and it works great, the first test is a nervous time tho. A must to keep ya lure in action for a long time

Only trouble with that method is after you have "broke" the bib back and re set it a few times, it will start to flip back even with water pressure. Best leave them as they are. If you do happen to break one you can make it into a fixed bib ( normal zonk or gateride bib)

:-) though it might of been a typo

When you sell the patch2 & feed popper keep me in mind ;-)

Better than potentially snapping early on tho? Still get plenty action out of then and there 20 quid a pop, I want plenty use

ive watched the vid but only problem is
he dosnt say how much you file off the two nuckles .
Too much plastic filed = broken lure.

Not enough plastic filed = broken lure
