If we are not fishing LW then we'll have to keep an eye on the Sea state. If all's well we could meet at the north end of the Grotto car park at about 1pm??

Just had a look at the report from Thunderpants, and the area looks fishy. Looking forward to Sunday. Whats the score SPs or isomes?

Alright lads I'm gonna make a suggestion for this Sunday. The tide predictions look like the Sea could be too rough for rock fishing along the Leas on Sunday. So with safety in mind and northerly winds, how's about fishing one of the Piers??

I would suggest Roker, but there's no guarantee it'll be open!! So failing that how's about South Shields??? There'll be a chance of mini species down the side of the pier if nowt else!!

I've just been informed (by the wife) I can only make 3-6pm due to other commitments. So let me know consensus of opinion, or alternatively we could postpone for a couple of weeks? What ever yous decide I'll be out from 3-6pm on Sunday afternoon, so if you planning on turning out, let me know your preference.

Hopefully It'll be a bit better organised next month, with the promise of better weather!
                Regards

if the forecast is right si i think a sheltered mark would be best . being unfamiliar with the south shields area i cant speculate but given the southerly and easterlies i would be heading down hpool piers this weekend. with the winds i would say it would be challenging to do lrf unless u were say down the wear again? or a delay may be on the caards due to higher pressure?
