Well i think I'll try 2 methods, big rod with a 2 hook flapper, and my like gear with Texas set-up. Using isomes

Was thinking along those lines myself, although drop-shot with a Milfle on a bigger rod, think the current will put some action into the lure (hopefully).

There's a nice clean area of mud to the right of the car park where I might try using a modified Mepps. Just remove the treble and attach a single on a 3 or 4" length of mono. The tide should push some flatties up to the bank.

Don't forget to Verjazzle it for added attraction.
