Just realised I didn't put a weight range doh! Its hard to say because the rod itself is rated to 100g but I would never cast 100g with it. For casting I would use up 0-40g Max, it ill handle Ultra Light tackle too <5g, dropping over the size of the boat it's pretty much as heavy as you need or dare. It really does take some punishment.Regards
