    At last the weather seems to be making a change, water is slowly heating up and the clarity is becoming a lot better. First signs of improvement today, had half a dozen small coley's off the rock edges just above the kelp.

    Small stuff showing at Dunstanburgh last week and the first reported Mackerel caught from SS Pier tonight!! Let the Summer Fun begin!

      Nice photos Si, had a run down along the beach and pier this morning, water looked fairly clear like you said... the rest of the week is due to be settled so should clear up nicely!! Where did u end up fishing? The Leas area?

        It was the leas area mate at Johnson's. The lump of protruding rock to the left of the pic. :-)

          had a go at roker today with spinners and isomes. plenty coalie n flattie rumors of maccy in morning .....water was clear tho mild sea on.
