    Usual request - any information on fishing the Tummel system greatly appreciated.

    20 yards of 50mm gill net and set fire to all exposed flesh before you go (napalm is handy for this), its a well know fact that midges won\'t bite burnt skin, guaranteed to catch fish and not get bitten

      cheers mark followed your instructions, used petrol and sugar soap as the shop won\'t sell me napalm anymore (Don\'t ask!). Just need the 20 yards of net to catch the little 50mm Jill\'s in. What do I do with them after i\'ve caught them. Are they really fully formed little ladies

        off anyway armed with the napalm thing so that\'s ok. (edit) So I would have to get an airgun and go and shoot bank voles and mountain squashfarts. But that would be in my new life I would be liken to the wind ........Sshhhhhhhhhhhh (softly blowing) and that :P

            An angler was drowned in the river very close to where I was staying (yards away) while I was up there. An awful tradgedy.

            I made a flippant comment in the previous post (now edited) which alas came true for another unfortunate man and his family
