Dunno If any of you fish it, i do (or did) cos its an easy 20 min drive if I fancied a few hours, but the weed situation is appalling, Id heard it was bad last time i went, and asked the guy how bad it was, he said \" Its not as f***n bad as people say\", so I thought, well youre aware people are talking mate!
any way it was bad. Apparrently they had cut some, but left it in the water, so what was the point. Ive since spoken to three lads, who on mentioning Sleekburn, have said they wont go back rtill winter cos of the weed, and also , and this is only my observation, the fish are struggling to hit 2lb. Theres also been a price rise, so Sharpley is now only £1 more for the same hours. Non Comparable really.
