There is a very slight chance that the lake in the Exhibition Park will hold a few fish, what fish is another question. The EA were planning to net the lake doing something they call a fish rescue any fish netted were to be put into the lake at Leazes Park.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught
Hows it going russel ?
As scotty says the exy is a pond the ea use as a holding pond for the fish rescues
they do around the area, there are fish in there but not allowed to fish it !!
But then again ive had some good bags from there, roach, rudd, perch, tench and im sure theres a carp or two
If its got t1ts or tyres, its gonna be trouble.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem

im fine neil mate
thats exactley what i was thinking! its gotta hold fish!
i think the council is losing out because surely if they allowed it to be restocked and allowed it to be fished mabey put a few structures in there its practically ready made!
plus i think the leazes club would snap it up aswell as its only a 10-15min walk from leazes! plus theres a cafe/playpark ect you could even sell day tickets from the cafe
i have fond memories of taking a hand net and jar up there with me grandad when i was a yougun i just think its a damm shame and a waste thats all lads
