Just watched a Jack Charlton fishing programme with the missus, (It\'s her 40\'th tomorrow so she\'s greasing up in the hope of a decent present) A ghillie was netting a lovely fresh run 14 pounder for Mrs Mills. Our lass says - \"Where\'s the fun in that?\" I say \"Well it\'s all about the preparation, reading the river, technique, fly selection, a tiny pluck turning into a solid take and playing the king of fish to the bankside.\"
She said \"Well he just dipped his net in and got one out!\"
