I've spoken to him on the phone, He's bought some pike lures (wonder where he gets that from ) and a catapult (Kids cannot resist catapults)

But a really good day by all acounts, Both kids got Matt's autograph and he really put himself out,.

in the early days i wasnt too keen on matt,but over the years(after hearing some good stuff)he has grown on me

Me and Big Tel spoke to him today in the shop, he said he was working on a new series of programmes. I also asked him about Mick Brown, and he said he packed in fishing about 4 years ago......seemed a canny bloke like....

If you wanted a carp setup it would be very cheap..rods for a tenner, f/s reels for a fiver, had some canny clothing in as well. Beach gear was a bit sparse though, but the guy in the shop said they are going to get more sea gear in

you can't fault them for that price, I wanted my son to get 1 as he struggles with my 12' rods but they had sold out.

Unless he meant they stopped fishing together? He gets on a pike forum I use and promotes his videos. He's just done a 3rd and he is in to underwater footage of pike.
