In truth mate, in 2011 the place was heavily polluted and the fish died. There were big carp, eels, jack pike found dead. Some were rescued some may of survived??
I've fished it 3 times since and nothing. Stills beautiful place and I hope it recovers and gets restocked.

It did hold 1 or 2 big pike which I hope survived. The owners were going to stock it with trout and pike which would be perfect for me as there is nothing in the North East.

It's unbelievable the big fish it has held, I would of loved to have fished it in it's prime. What I believe with small pressured waters is the pike become very hard to catch. They can sometimes even refuse dead baits so you will need to outwitt them.
I've lost a bit of gear in there in the past as it is really shaggy. One of the pike I found dead was about 6lb with a trace stuck down it's throat.
