i fished sharpley today
thought i would try out my greyflex 4/5 rod
first cast i caught a 7 lb 10 oz trout
it took some playing but it was very enjoyable
then i caught another two about 3 lb each
just pay for your ticket
your allowed 1 fish(1st fish) on a half day but 3 fish on a full day
so if you gatch a 1 lb trout you have to kill it
then next chuck you get a 14 punda you have to put it back
The fish is also a cracker - Well Done and after reading what you have to do i am pleased it was your first fish and not your second so as to put it back
the top photo looks like a much bigger fish sless !
How big was that one ? lol
good looking beast that one nice red cheeks and a big gut aswell
well done sless
hi sless
do you travel to many venues for your fluff chucking or do you fish local all the time if you travel where to might be able to get a few tips unlike the cod the rainbows must just swim round in circles all day LOL do you get away with 6/os or do you find them a bit heavy LLOL
yes i travel a bit to fluff chuck
im going to ireland for a week in may
then mainly its just the reservoirs
and local still waters
the rainbows must swim round all day and get dizzy for me to catch them
i use size 10\'s and smaller
but if they are not biting i put on a string off trebbles and foul hook the blighters
lol
you wont get any tips off me
but terry wood is a great instructor and will help you out
im sure
