WEST HOUSE FISHING REPORT 5/2/13
This weather is a killer, one day lovely, the next rain, winds and or snow, however despite this those brave enough to fish have had some good days. Despite the cold temperatures the fish are not deep with most being caught in the top 2 feet. Best method this week has been a floating line and letting a Lure or Bloodworm drift around in the breeze with the occasional tweek, this has provoked plenty of takes.
Season ticket holder Lee Cartmail from Middlesborough has had some excellent sessions this week his best being 24 fish all caught on Apps Bloodworms but Lee has caught over 40 fish in total this week, he’s really on form. David Bolton from Hartlepool had an excellent day landing 12 fish the best 6lb all caught on a Black Zonker, and Peter Williamson from Bishop Auckland also had a good day with 9 fish caught on Buzzers

The lakes are now open from 8am until 5pm every day
