Tactics: Lures and bloodworm imitations are the order of the day if fishing during a chill, which this week has brought. Otherwise black buzzers can as usual be relied upon. Diawl bachs and black pheasant tails are the pick of the nymphs, the former being deadly in the red or orange-headed variant.
Static buzzers or mini-lures fished static under indicators or a buoyant dry have seen their share of success.
