  • Derwent double

Me grant and james went to the derwent we got thier late and the anglers we spoke to said it was poor a few casts for grant and he was shouting get the net as he had a decent fish on so james netted the fish after a struggle the fish snapped the net we weighed it which was 10lb 9ozs and it was a fine blue, we caught a few more trout between us and i had to purchase another net which cost £30 bit of a expensive day 4 me but worth for grants fish welldone son

thats just the problem barry he keeps sticking it right up my butt the fish is the biggest caught so far this season up the derwent beating the previous 1 by 1oz it was also full of eggs does any1 no if these are phantom pregnancies or do these fish breed as i thought it was just the wild fish that bred it was nice to see it swim away and the derwent is running on full not many places to fish unless you like crawling around in the bushes lol
