WEST HOUSE FISHING REPORT 19TH JUNE 2012
The weather has finally improved and the fish are now really feeding. There is lots of activity all day surface and sub surface. The evening rises have been excellent and the lakes are now open until 9pm to take advantage of this. Most fish are being taken on Dries, Buzzers or nymphs fished within the top 12 inches.
Peter Jones of Hartlepool had an excellent day landing 12 Trout all on small black dries. William Shattock of Sunderland caught 8 fish his best a Rainbow of 12lb which fell to a Black Buzzer. West House season ticket holder landed a nice carp of 13lb caught on a Blob. Nigel Smith of Northallerton and his partner Peter Williamson between them caught 19 trout the best a Rainbow of 11lb and a Brown of 6lb, most of their fish were caught on Dries and Buzzers,
The lakes are now open from 8am until 9pm every day
