caistron is a top water my first choice also hope to visit a couple i've never fished like langley and waskerley,
heard rumours sweethope might be getting sold/leased to a private club so no more day tickets a shame as it was a cracking fishery
i heard that about sweethope as well Dave mate, dont know if its true or not though

Derwent for me but i,ll wait till after my Norway trip late March.
I,m also debating wether to renew my Salmon licence.Fished the Wear at Durham quite a lot last year and only had couple of tiddlers on my fly rod. The Salmon rod did nothing.
Use of lead lines is common and tube flies. But it looks more like ripping on a boat to me and its not my idea of fishing.
Much prefer a quite bank on my own.

Chatton for me, I have never been but I have been told that it's good.
I've had a go with the fly before but didn't realy put the effort in that I should have so I'm realy starting from scratch, with that in mind any advice is welcome lads.
I plan on giving it a go when I'm up at the caravan at Seahouses before the Summer codling fishing picks up.
