pike fishing scotland (pics)

Decided to take a day trip pike fishing up to a scottish loch me and a friend fish. Couldnt of picked a better day with wind at 1mph and clear sky's all day it looked set for a quality chilled out day fishing. arrived bag on the sun rising, set the daedbait rods up on the alarms (4 in total) and it wasnt long before the first run cam along. unlucky for me mate it managed to escape just at his feet but seemed a nice little jack. In total we had 5 fish biggest 11lb but missed 5 runs (which was strange) and i lost 1 more on the way in and my mate lost a cracking fish aswell which looked a very good double when i seen it about 20ft out before it decided to take line and snap him off. All in all was another cracking day for us, good to get back up there and no boubt il be back up in the next few weeks for another days piking.

not my kind of fishing m8 but it looks absolutly mint and some quality fish there keep it up .

Now that's what I call fishing, stunning place and some nice pike. I'm there Thursday, in the boat for a bit of winter piking.
