Was fishing Chatton 2day(bagged 3!), talking 2 a fella from Berwick, he says that a new fishery has opened near Longhorsley or Longfram',has anyone heard owt? I heard last year that a new Northumbrian Water Res. was to be opened in that area, any info appreciated, tight lines everone!!!
the only place i know around longhorsley is south linden lakes Home - South Linden Fishery ..but thats been open nearly 10 years and all the water is pulled towards the damn so generally all the fish stay that end...its ok to take your kids ...but thats about it imo.
Thanks Axe, just had look at the s/linden link, seems only flyfish for 4hrs max!, might give them a call tho', I still heard a rumour last year of a new res., opening up, will keep me ears pinned back! tight lines!
