Well lads dusted the gear down and headed 4 mile up the road to the Derwent again. £23 for my ticket then round to the North Shore. Took my brolly for some respite from any rain. Third cast using black lure and hit a small Rainbow. Stuck at it for an hour and got one more a bit better.
For a change i upped sticks and went to the Sailing club. Water here a lot shallower and really struggled. It rained heavily so after a couple of hours upped off back to my original spot. Blanked for the rest of the day. Got to 5pm and my back was killing so went home.
PS Glad i went on my day off bloke fishing to my left was one of our big bosses
who looked totally different with his hood up and sunglasses on--------------and he was a good angler.
