woodlands(28/3/11) a little late

me dave and his dad ste and decided to head off to the woodlands
we arrived there just after 0730 and decided to fish the cock pheasant lake things where slow for the first half hour or so then all of a sudden i had a rattle on the feeder rod wich resulted in a small tench first fish of the day
shortly after ste decided to join in and get his first of the day another tench all went quiet for quite some time with small skimmers keeping us busy for a short while before the roach made a showthat was pretty much the story upuntil about 4.45pm when dave had his first carp of the day imediatly followed by my second of the day after that it was non stop with the carp every cast on the pellet what a cracking day lovely weather and a nice place to fish

dusk til dawn fishing thinking of going again on saturday fish from dusk til dawn give it a long haul over there i bet theres bigger fish to be had

I normally fish the first lake on the right. Never had a bad day, normally average about 5 carp with plenty bream to 2 pound tench to 3 pound and roach to 1 pound.

My best carp was 8 pound 10. But seen a 12 pounder caught.

I might give it ago in a few weeks.
