  • Sonik sk4 spinning rod

Could do woth a bit of advice lads. Have any of you used or are you using one of these sonik SK4 spinning rods. I am thinking of getting one ready for next season and can't decide on the 9ft or the 10ft model. I do most of my spinning for Salmon and Seatrout on the river wear. I have been using an ABU 11ft specimen rod for a number of years but I am finding the action is too soft these days and tend to miss takes. Changed to a Berkley 9ft I bought for sea spinning at the back end of the season and found it was a lot better, had a 3lb seatrout and a 14.5lb salmon on the same day and I also found it was a lot better for getting into tight spots along the river bank with better distance control when casting.Any advice appreciated.

i have the 10 ft one nice rod had double salmon and sea trout on it , very comfortable with reel nearer the butt compared to other spinning rods only thing i hate is you have to check joints for working loose but you get that on most rods , and mine is the 4 piece cheers
