went on a mission to catch a pike objective atchieved approx 6 to 7lb on a lure my son grant caught one about just over a pound and my son james also caught a small one but lost it on the retrieve.

Nice one. Where was this at? Been wanting to try a bit pike fishing for ages, got a load of dead-baits in the freezer but just never got round to actually going! Well, saying that we did try Killingworth lake in the winter but didn't even get a sniff. We were going to try Bolam Lake next time but never got round to it like I say.

At least ya 1 of ya boys managed something out still it a day out in the fresh air.

I am going to give the fresh water fishing a go been fancying it for a bit now.
