  • Wales fresh water

Hi lads just got back from a nine day fishing session in Wales between fresh water and sea, first day i fished a river near the border's and got my first ever and obviously pb chub and barbel.

don't know the wieght's as i don't have scale's and if anybody know's where i can go fishing for barbel in the north east i'd appriecate the info, they are one of the best fighting fish i have caught on light gear.
Well anyway fished the river again the following day and got nowt then headed for the north Wales coastline but i'll put that one up in the sea fishing, came back the next weekend and had ago at carp fishing and i got four in four cast's using bread surface fishing

These were my first carp too, so more pb's, i'll look forward to trying for these fish again i'll post my sea report later as i've got to go back to work now
    cheers casper.

Cheers ivan it was a fantastic place, the river was only half a mile from where i was staying and the pond was in a friends garden.
