Fished derwent Sunday with an extreme hangover,the two boys were with me so i got two tickets as the oldest boy is catching more than me now,we had 14 by midday so had to go down and get another ticket,ended up with 18 and missed a few and also caught a canny roach,all caught on power bait,worm,fly and spinner,the latter doing very well,oldest boy caught the biggest 3lb 4 and the youngest lost a bigger one which turned and snapped his main line,not to worry as he caught one 7lb the previous week,had to help him land it as he is only five,spent quite a bit of money but worth it to see the boys faces as they caught fish after fish,final tally arran 8,calum 6 and dad 4,obviously my excuse is me helping them,nothing to do with hangover

i wa un aware that you could use spinners on resiviors

there are certain areas which only allow fly fishing-north shore.
pow hill side you can use everything except the kitchen sink.- no groundbaiting allowed but you can use feeders.
