Chatton Yesterday

Went to Chatton with my mate Sheppie and fished from 2.00 8.00, managed to C/R a dozen quality trout and must have dropped off at least the same again.
Sheppie managed four and most of our fish were from the top lake fishing Buzzers, blobs, and black lures, the only down side was the rain which came down in bucket loads and gave our waterproof clothing a real test.
All in all a good session and it was good to get back to a cracking fishery and have a chinwag with Rodger and Allison.

I had a free session (been 7 times = free session) up at the Derwent last Sunday afternoon. It was a bad day-torrential rain all afternoon caught nowt. Water was silty with all of the soil being washed in.
The bay of plenty is now very low and the sides are quick sinking mud so its difficult to fish.
