Went to higham today 29/4/09. Its only the second time fly fishing. First time was at the derwent and i blanked. This time at Higham i caught my first ever rainbow trout on fly. It was about 2lb in weight. I was jumping for joy as was expecting to blank again. Ha Ha. I did not know fly fishing would be so exciting when you get a take. So at this moment im still buzzing. Roll on next time. Like a kid in a candy shop. Ha Ha
congrats mate, i know the feeling only to well seeing as i only started about 3 weeks ago and blanked first outing then caught on 2nd outing.Great feeling aint it
