Cold or What, a Polar Bear would have had a top coat on today.

Fished from 9.00 till 2.00 and managed to get 4 to the net, the best of the bunch was a nice 5lb keeper.
The day was patchy but anglers were still managing to get a bend in the rods, maybe the cold snap put the fish off a wee bit.
Once again no particular pattern was evident as one fellow caught 3 on buzzers, another on lures, mine were on GRHE with a gold bead head.
The finger tips were a bit tingling but when I went over the top with my wellies my toes soon curled up, a quick bit of improvisation ended with me using my fleece hat for a stocking, not to worry it saved the day
Thats it folks, the fish are filleted and in the freezer so it is off for a hot bath with maybe a tot of grouse to warm the cockles.

    cheers

    seddo.

        Off again Wednesday 2nd,
I reckon I will look more like Huggy Bear than a fisherman as I think the forecast is a bit nippy for tomorrow.
