  • help/info please

    im off with the little man next couple of weeks. he keeps asking about going fishing. hes only 6 so was thinking of trying some float fishing for freshwater species. is there anywhere i could go for a day out???? i dont mind a bit of travel just fancy something different from the sea fishing im used to. maybe a fishery with a training lake???? any info/suggestions would be much apreciated

    If its coarse fishing you want,Silksworth is full of fish.
    Comfortable pegs and i think its only £3 a day.Pay when a bailiff comes round.

      Woodlands at Thirsk would be a good call mate. Full of fish and good facilities.

        if its trout,foxpond ay birtly they have a fast pool for the kids,trout taste muddy mind so plenty lemon,etc on em

          rod licence

          Don't forget you will need a rod licence even if your just showing him what to do.

            cheers for the replies lads. yeah I know about the rod license I think you can just get a day license. will check it out cheers
